Mike FlemingChief Executive Officer When Mike Fleming founded FCi, he had a vision of creating innovative solutions that would revolutionize the management of the structured cabling services industry. With more than 20 years insight and experience, his other major accomplishments include co-founding Village Communications, Cablecom and TracNet™ Services. Mike has worked to develop unique web-based services that meet the needs of service contractors in enhancing their operational efficiencies and that provide organizations with a proven method for managing their cabling assets. His excellent record of entrepreneurial leadership, creativity and commitment to customer service are strongly reflected in the business practices of FCi.

Geoff OakesPresident & Chief Operating Officer Geoff Oakes joined the FCi team as President / Chief Operating Officer in January 2003. Geoff is responsible for the day to day direction, growth and profitability of FCi. Geoff brings over 15 years of experience in the global high technology industry, and he has demonstrated accomplishments in both domestic and international business development. Prior to joining FCi, Geoff was Vice President of Sales at Nuvo Network Management. Geoff also worked as the Director of Business Development at Newbridge Networks.

Mark Saunders, CMAVP, Finance & Operations Since joining FCi in early 2008, Mark has been responsible for finance, administration and day to day operations. His 20 years of experience include 10 years in telecommunications as Director of Finance & Operations with Talkswitch Inc. in addition to numerous financial positions including ADESA Corporation in Sacramento, California. Mark is a CMA, he has also earned a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto.

David SheldrickPartner As a charter FCi partner, David Sheldrick has in excess of 20 years of industry specific experience starting with Village Communications and subsequently Cablecom. David is responsible for deploying and managing numerous service technicians from FCi’s resource team on a daily basis. David began his career as a Field Service Technician, rapidly gaining expertise in Project Management, Technical Training, Supervision and subsequently as a Senior Business Partner at FCi. David has numerous significant accomplishments with experience locally, nationally and internationally.

Stephen LeePartner Stephen Lee joined FCi as a Partner in 1996. As a prominent member of FCi, he is responsible for deploying and managing over 20 service technicians from FCi’s resource team on a daily basis. Stephen began his telecommunications experience in 1983 starting with Village Communications, Cablecom and subsequently as an FCi Business Partner. Stephen’s experience as a Field Service Technician, rapidly allowed him to gain Supervision expertise and Project Management skills. Stephen takes pride in his accomplishments both locally, nationally and internationally.

Gaston CarreauPartner As a proven entrepreneurial professional, Gaston Carreau joined FCi as a Partner in early 2003. Since the start of his telecommunications career in 1986, he has achieved results working with companies such as Netricom, Nuvo Networks, EDS Canada, Dafotel, the Bank of Canada, Algonquin College and Entrust. Throughout Mr. Carreau’s career, he has achieved outstanding results. His major accomplishments include managing five regional sales offices, securing high-profile contracts and multiple standing offers, just to name a few.

Liz McCourtBusiness Development Liz McCourt joined the FCi Business Development team in April of 2004. Liz is a creative, results-oriented sales professional, with over fifteen years of sales experience in the IT industry. Her IT industry experience includes outstanding results in IT staffing, network infrastructure, voice and data products, and PBX telephone systems. She is a quality conscious leader, committed to service excellence and building successful client relationships through exceeding expectations.

Tim A. OakesBusiness Development Tim's extensive marketing experience working with Ottawa's commercial real estate and general contracting industries make him a valuable member of the FCi business development team. As an independent entrepreneur in this market for over 15 years Tim has an intimate understanding of all aspects of business development. Tim is an active member of both the OCA (Ottawa Construction Association) and BOMA (Building Owner Manager Association).

Richard McMullenPartner - Security Solutions Richard McMullen joins FCi with over 20 years of experience within the physical security industry. Most recently Richard was Senior Sales and Business Development executive with ADT Systems. Richard will be developing the expanding security line of business at FCi. Richard brings extensive security experience and expertise, having worked on many high profile security applications. He has worked with many commercial, government, military and law-enforcement agencies and has expertise with video surveillance, access control and complete security solutions.

Don ParnellDirector, Security Solutions As Director of Security Solutions Don brings over 20 years of experience within the Security/Access Control industry. Don began his security career in 1986 in an Inside Technical Sales capacity and has excelled from there. Don has assumed full responsibility for the revenue and operations of this emerging line of business. Don’s experience in installation, hardware, software, procedure development, technical training and general management, have allowed him to rapidly gain the skills required to expand this line of business.
